Duran Bernarr, an Ohio native with little mainstream recognition but an astonishingly strong singing voice, delivers a fabulous ode to living the stress-free life on “Freefall” (“Here I go, taking chances… I don’t wanna trust no more, I just wanna let go.”) It’s a soothing, sultry performance and one of the album’s major highlights.

Making music with this style is the smartest thing that Kaytranada could do, and it makes sense that other artists are following this pattern.

Rating: 9/10

“Intimidated” sounds like only Kaytranada could have made it, the style of production is very funky and wavy. It is a quick, yet enjoyable listen.

Although he sticks to his roots, fans should be able to take pleasure in the EP and look forward to whatever the producer comes out with next.

Rating: 8/10

The Craig David collaboration "Got It Good" touches on the sweeter strains of '90s R&B without resorting to nostalgia, putting David's knack for wordy, overstuffed measures to good work.

It sets up Celestin as someone carving out his niche.
