The track rides atop a soulful cadence, underscored by Kaytranada’s signature electronic sound.

The black-and-white visual sees the duo command a lively warehouse rave from a suspended metal platform and under bright, flashing lights. Between futuristic effects, inventive shots and a retro-inspired set, the music video captures the single’s carefree ambiance with a penchant for a good party.

"Out My Face"

Prod. Kaytranda, Feat. Lou Phelps

Lou Phelps released his latest Kaytranada-produced single “Out My Face,” a shimmering laid-back affair that further solidifies the Montreal-based brothers’ chemistry.

"The relationship that me and my brother have, we grew up as twins. Me and Kay have this tight relationship and it’s hard to replicate this type of relationship with any other producer. I guess it’s something about the brother energy, the brotherly vibes."

While Phelps is no stranger to rapping over Kaytranada beats, this one is more reflective of Phelps’ self-made success.

In the song’s accompanying video, Phelps is rapping in Europe, bouncing back and forth from several locations and features a brief interlude where a man claims that Phelps is “going to get [him] in the most trouble in the world.” When Phelps goes to respond, the video cuts back to him rapping the song’s chorus which begins with “Out My Face.”

"Best Rapper In The Fucking World"

Feat. Goldlink

Damn. Friday November 20, 2020 should be known as Dream Team Friday, because the all-star collabs are coming in from all sides today.

GoldLink and Kaytranada have a good thing going. They’ve developed quite the chemistry as collaborators on each other’s respectively stellar debut albums, And After That, We Didn’t Talk and 99.9%.

GoldLink has made a name for himself for his snappy, kinetic style of rap, and this latest offering puts that unique flow over a soulful Kaytranada loop.

The grainy, vinyl-esque veil on top is the chef’s kiss to this chilled, yet feverish new track.

Collab coming soon

Feat. PinkPantheress

The two artists teamed up for the first time recently for a new track, due in November. This collaboration is fitting, given they are both known for spinning a panoply of influences into forward-thinking dance music.

"I’ve got a very small circle of musicians I actually love", Pinkpantheress tells Kaytranada, “and you are very much one of them."

Kaytranada, 30, has already earned two Grammys (for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album) and spent the summer opening on the Weeknd’s stadium tour, while PinkPantheress, 21, just last year released her excellent debut mixtape, To Hell With It, which piled up house and drum-and-bass samples while charting an emerging generational sensibility.

In other words, this is a collaboration long time in the coming, making fans of both artists very excited for what they're planning. While nothing is for certain, we know they'll make an absolute banger of a track like they always do.
